Day 143: June 6th, 2013

It’s the last day of school.  I used to sing the theme to “The Last Unicorn” when the last day of school came around—“It’s the last DAY OF SCHOOL—I’m ALIVE, I’m ALIVE!”  Now, I dread the last day of school, like any other mother who has a child that needs constant attention and constant reinforcement.  I have a busy day scheduled for today too.  After I’m done with this lovely entry, I plan on hopping on my treadmill and spitting out around 5-6 miles.  Then I’m going to send the kids off to school, go to cross fit, go grocery shopping at the commissary (with all 15 varieties of ketchup), and then back to pick up the kids.  After the kids are fetched, we’ll head to Fort Walton Beach and do speech and violin lessons.  After that, we’ll head home to do the last bit of cleaning before my mother-in-law makes her appearance.  Needless to say it’s going to be quite a busy day tomorrow.  I’m hoping Friday will be a little more relaxed.  Unfortunately, this weekend our plans are kind of ruined with an impending tropical storm.
